How to send your settings to a friend?

In the bottom left of the screen click "Save". Send the resulting file. Friend presses "Load". If you just want to save the current settings, it can not do: the software automatically remembers your last setting.

How to fix the level/type/country of the tank?

Go to the folder that contains the Tank Icon Maker. Open the folder "Data". We are interested in the files Data-BuiltIn-0.7.0-001.csv and Data-BuiltIn-0.7.1-001.csv. Open them in a text editor. I hope that the format of the data is obvious. After the fix you can press the "Reload" button in the program, and it finds the files again.

I don't like the names of some tanks. How to make your own?

Go to the folder that contains the Tank Icon Maker. Open the folder "Data".

Create a text file named Data-NameSlang-Ru-Basil-0.9.14-001.csv substituting the components you need:

- EN — language titles
- Basil — the name of the author (i.e. you). Be sure to substitute your.
- 0.9.14 — version of the game, which was done. Will also work with later versions.

In the file write something like this:

WOT-DATA,1,"Names on the taste of Basil",NameImproved,Romkyns

The "NameImproved" and "Romkyns" indicate where to take the bulk of the names of tanks. In this case, from the file "NameImproved" the author of "Romkyns". Therefore you can change only those names that you don't like, and the rest leave as is.
